Gary Gries, Executive DirectorGary Gries,
recently retired principal of Melrose Elementary School, is the Executive Director. A small staff assists him,
but most of the work is being done by volunteers from the community.
Penny Perse, Administrative Assistant
Penny is the Administrative Assistant. Her warm smile
greets visitors and residents.
Ned Landis, House Manager
Ned Landis retired in July 2005 from the County and by August he was the House Manager at Casa de Belen.
Ned's main responsibility is intake, screening potential residents.
Juniper Schneider, Clinical Director
Father Juniper, St Joseph Catholic Church pastor and St Joseph Catholic school principal, is the Clinical Director.
Brian Jewell, Activities Director
Brian Jewell, a student at UCC majoring in Criminal Justice, is the activities director. Brian was
in the Marine Reserves for three years and spent seven months in Iraq.
